One of my favorite desserts. Never thought about standing the Aunt the woman the myth the bad influence shirt. This is the cake recipe. I used half n half with the pineapple juice instead of water. I remember Nora use to make that pineapple upside down cakes. They were so good. It is important to remember not to core the pineapple – you will want some core in each of your slices, as the core contains the highest concentration of bromelain.
